"These two CD's mark the second volume of a three part series of double CD's by Psychic TV and friends to be released at imploite intervals into the bloodstream of popular (and unpopular) culture through the benevolent delivery device of Invisible Records. They cover the legendary, experimental, pioneering and prolific "Jack The Tab", "Tekno Acid Beat" and "Ultrahouse Ultradrug" period (1988-94) of Psychic TV's increasingly influential and respected existence (1981-1999). Rather than just re-release and repackage the original source CD's Genesis P-Orridge collaborated with Martin Atkins, Adam Yoffe, David Baker, Gnat, Marc Paez, iCONIKLaSTique Design Klinik and all at Invisible Records to perfect and improve every possible detail. Certain tracks have been omitted, others edited, allowing a truly "definite" and artist approved historical collection to be assembled for you. There is a rare lost track by Splinter Test "Ketameaner Kat" to restimulate your INTRA-SENSORY PERCEPTION. So there you have it! Certainly something to make a psychedelic song and dance about. They're back! Those international media pranksters, techno-shamen and glambient 'brujos' of the "under-the-counter-culture". Oh, don't be nervous, relax, breathe deeply...SWALLOW!"
Francis Pinkieknicker, New York 1999

"Jack The Tab" was originall released in 1988 on Castalia Recordings, England. Cat # ACID 001 CD. "Tekno Acid Beat" was originally released in 1988 on Temple Records, England. Cat # TOPYCD 041. "Psychic TV Presents Ultrahouse - The L.A. Connection" was originally released in 1991 on Wax Trax Records, Chicago. Cat # WAXCD 7179. "Utradrug - Genesis P-Orridge and Psychic TV Featuring Richard Schiessl" was released in 1994 by Visionary Records, England. Cat # VICD 001. "Jack The Tab/Tekno Acid Beat" were released in 1990 as a double CD by Wax Trax Records, Chicago. Cat # WAXCD 7127. "Psychic TV Presents - Ultrahouse- The Twelve Inch Mixes" was released as an extended CD Single in 1990 by Wax Trax Records, Chicago. Cat # WAXCDS 9188.

Dr. Timothy Leary
Born 22 Oct 1920; died 31 May 1996.
American writer and psychologist most famous for his advocacy of the therapeutic and spiritual benefits of LSD. His most significant recording was the 1967 album Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out (a phrase coined by Dr Leary) - ostensibly a "user manual" for a self-guided LSD trip.

After his death in 1996, he was cremated, and his remains were distributed amongst his friends and family. On 21 April 1997, seven grams of the ashes were shot into space contained in a rocket, along with the ashes of other notable individuals. It remained in orbit for six years, at which point it burned up into the atmosphere.

The man who urged a generation to "Tune in, Turn Off, and Drop Out is taking his ironically upbeat message to the masses with his CD, Right to Fly. Prior to his passing on May 31, 1996, Dr. Timothy Leary recorded this collection of rock 'n roll songs with Simon Stokes (Black Whip Thrill Band). Stokes also co-produced the album with partner Bayard Johnson (Mother Nature's Army) and Randall Keith. During his life, Timothy Leary was a professor, an actor, a lecturer, a fugitive, a candidate, a comedian, a software developer and a recording artist. Famous for his research with psychedelic drugs in the 60's, Dr. Leary has since become a cultural icon.
